The poem by Robert Frost named The road not taken is also his best works. His poetry is the most important feature of the immediate good use of seemingly innocuous things, to express a profound philosophy. Because of the specific things he said with a longer abstract concepts, so his poetry is easy for readers to accept and understand!

ReplyDeleteThe Road Not Taken, writed by Robert Frost. The poem tells us: the journey of life, we often have to chose be on two roads, two ideas or two actions, different options will determine the different direction of life. When we face of choice, we tend to become indecisive and repeatedly weighed, not sure. Finally, we will eventually choose one of the road. This poem depicts a man and his faced with the choice to choose the time of mentality, those who choose not to write the specific content of the poet's focus is to select itself. We can know: the road of life ten million, but a person's life often can only choose one of them, once you choose a decision and not to re-take of the machine, it must be careful, do not follow the crowd, and careful thought has to go through to make their own independent choice.
ReplyDeleteFire and Ice, also writed by Robert Frost. In the poem, , and tells the world in the first two destroyed in the fire or the possibility of ice and a symbol of passion . This poem clearly showing that the unique dilemma. Fire and ice as the two poles of human nature, the choice of who, the result is destruction. Driven by the desire of the human will eventually irrational, suicidal greed and corruption; Similarly, the indifference to the cruelty, not love and help, only autocorrelation trampled to extinction. The poet seems to have born the sober sage and lightly, but can lead readers to deeply worried about the future of mankind, and the rethinking of the extreme.
The Road Not Taken written by Robert Frost talks about people should make a correct decision or make a decision they won't regret it in the future. Author uses metaphor in the poem like "Two roads diverged in a wood,I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference" which means there're two decision in author's life, and he change his choice, this made his life become different. So author was also remind people to think before you make a decision. The tone of this poem is thoughtful.
ReplyDeleteStopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening is a poem that seems like was talking about winter, but author use metaphor in the poem. Author use four season as a stages of age. Spring symbolize child, Summer symbolize young age to adult, Autumn symbolize people become old and winter symbolize old people or death. Through the poem, author said he stood in the forest and it's the darkest evening of the year. Forest symbolize authors life, and this is the hardest day for author in his life; "The woods are lovely, dark and deep" means author felt like the situation is not easy and harsh, but he still described dark woods lovely, this shows authors has a mood of optimism. In the end of the poem, author said“ and miles to go before I sleep", sleep means death, authors showed his courage and a good mindset even facing death.

ReplyDeleteThe Road Not Taken was by Robert Frost is a very thoughtful poem. I really like the poem. It’s talking about the two roads that Robert can just choose one of them to travel. This theory is also like our life, we are always need to make decisions whatever we thinking or acting. Sometimes, we have to only pick one of two, it’s tough choice. Life is also has the same meaning as the road in the poem. When we pick one, we may not come back. The road you have selected will change the rest year of your life.
ReplyDeleteFire and Ice was also one of the most famous poems by Robert Frost. The poem is talking about the end of the world. It likes the elemental force of fire with the emotion of desire and destruction of ice. In my opinion, the ton of the poem is negative, because it’s talking about death; the atmosphere is silent and conflict due to fire and ice.
The 'road' being mentioned is the 'road of life'. Once somebody is put in the position to make a decision that will lead them in different directions but along the same journey. The journeys will both be calm and pleasant, however the result in the end may not always be the same. The message this poem is trying to get ac across, is that once you have set your mind on one journey, you may not want to come back. This achievement and willingness will leave you satisfied if things turn out as planned.
ReplyDeleteStopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening
In this poem, winter resembles death. Not a lonely, cold, horrible death, but a death where one comes to peace with them self and learns to be tranquil with the world. The need to feel at ease with the world can only be fully satisfied when one dies. The snow resembles the peacefulness that one faces when they die. The narrator wants to be done with the life he leads however he feels as if he has more responsibilities to worry about.
The Road Not Taken, a famous poem by Robert Frost, touch a lot of people's feeling because almost people would face the difficult decision in our life. In my view, the road in the poem means the path of life, which mean life is always mysterious that no one knows the future. At the begining, the tone of the author is a little gloomy. However, although there is no ability to predict the future, people have ability to change their life, as the poem said, "I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference". The meaning of the whole poem is that we should not give up and just through to keep going after we chose the decision which we do not know whether that raod will be good without walking through it.
ReplyDeleteEncourage and uplifting are the tone of the whole poem in my mind.
The Road Not Taken is a poem about making choices for your self in life.Which can be harsh at times. We are all given two choices the easy or hard path.At times we have to think about our desions we made, even if we made the wrong desions we have to stick to it because their is no turning back. The outcome could be good by taking the hard path you can be more sucessful. The tone of the poem is indulgent.
ReplyDeleteThe poem Fire and Ice is a desire of power. Fire and ice is both oppossite but both want to be destructive which is like hate. They both want to demolish its enemy. Fire is passion and ice is desire. The poem relates to society because we all have diffrent opinions, culture, and life style. The tone is argumentative
The Road Not Taken
ReplyDeleteThe first thing i found when i was looking at the The Road Not Taken is the rhyme. Every last word in every paragraph of every first, third and fourth sentence sounds similar. Such as the first paragraph, "wood", "stood" and "could", they all have /ud/. Also the following three paragraphs. The author was a courageous nonconformist in taking a road few other people had taken.
Fire and Ice
Its obviously describing the end of the world.
The fire symbolizes desire, the ice symbolizes hate.
Desire is something people strongly wish to have, so it's fire.
Hate is someone dislikes other very much, it's usually a feeling, so it's ice.
The Road Not Taken is the poem that narrates the most difficult thing in your life; decide your way to go. When you are facing two or more choices, and they are some differently seductive things in all of the choices, then you must be hard to choose one, because you want to get all the things that you want or you need, and you have to abandon one or more. It is difficult to abandon the thing which you really want to get. Sometimes, people will regret, they already chose one, but after they already chose one they think the other one should be better. This is the problem people have to face in their life and the poem talks about the situation of this with imply the tone of the poem is confused and disappointed.
ReplyDeleteFire and Ice. Fire and ice are the opposite things, cannot combine them together. Fire is uncontrollable, nobody knows what will happen in the next moment, and the ice symbolizes the problem that emanate slowly, you cannot feel that at the beginning, but we you know that, then it will be too late. Relate fire, ice and the society, we know that people cannot predict, the future always change, you will not what will happen next and sometimes, when people figure out what happened, then it is too late, because it already happened, and the only thing you have to do is think about that and make sure it will not happen again in the same way. The tone of this poem is penitential.
Fire and Ice
ReplyDeleteIn this poem, we can notice that Robert wrote desire as fire and hate as ice. In this poem, Robert Frost is saying that the reason about perishing world would be fire that represent human's over desire, and ice that represent human's hate with each other.
The Road Not Taken
In this poem, he is saying that chosing something is difficult. But in the poem, he 'choose' his own road, not 'follow' other people's saying, or roads. But he regret his choice even he 'select' that road. I think he tries to say that the most important thing in choseing something is are you going to regret or not after you choose.
The Road Not Taken
ReplyDeleteFirstly That should be said there are lots of Rhyme scheme ( Finally I was able to see art in one poetry) in this poetry which makes better that poetry. There are four rows in each stanza. And There is pattern like following
abaab, cdccd, efeef .... it is going like that.
Main idea of poetry is decision. It tells us if we made decision different than we've done what would happen. When I read this that is the first thing that I think. Mainly what I feel about this poetry is difficulty of being between two decisions which make conflict that we had because of difficulty of making good decisions.
Fire And Ice
Firstly there is rhyme scheme which is going like exactly following shows
a a a a a a a x a
Poet likes to think about that fire and ice which represents great food and cool coffee, joke aside, actually author represents what he wants to show us with symbols. In other words. He/She symbolized two feeling in human's daily life as fire and ice which are meterial of nature. He/She prefer that destruction of ice.
"Our over desires and hate makes us collapse the world. But it hasn't been decided yet which one is going to do that. But if you ask me I prefer to die in desire instead of hate" the author says to us in a way.
I think author prefer fire because believes that desire can produce something but hate collapses everything.
