ReplyDeleteThe poem written by Emily Dickinson sounds smooth. It seems that the whole peom has no climax part that there is only one tone in this peom, and that is calm. In the author's view, death is not pianful, expressing the life is regular, everyone has to die, people should not take things so seriously.
Although this peom does not really rhyme. there is also has one rhyme scheme in the end of the poem, that is ME and SEE, which sounds similar. In the end line, there is a repetition, SEE TO SEE. Anyway, this poem is normal less rhyme. The most interesting in the peom is that almost every lines has a dash.

The song of hope sounds sweetest “in the Gale,” and it would require a terrifying storm to ever “abash the little Bird / That kept so many warm.” The speaker says that she has heard the bird of hope “in the chillest land— / And on the strangest Sea—”, but never, no matter how extreme the conditions, did it ever ask for a single crumb from her.

This poem inspired me to pursue my dreams. Every time I feel down, I think of it and feel hopes again. Like we have feather, we can go whatever we want; it has the same situation if we have dream, we will try our best to work hard to catch the goal. It perches in our mind, inside. Because we all have potential power to try harder that we can’t imagine. The Chillest land and sore symbolized the time when we’re frustrated due to failure. The poem illustrate perfectly of hope.
